Supplies:

Stampin' Up Whisper White cardstock

Stampin' Up Bundle of Joy stamp set

Creative Memories black pen

Stampin' Up Basic Black ink pad

Spectrum Noir TB1 and TB3 alcohol markers

I drew the lines with the black pen to match the sketch and wrote Congratulations on the bottom.  I masked the corner and stamped the bear in the corner.  Then I colored in the images and colored over the lines in had drawn.  

Now I have to get busy cleaning up my Craftroom.

I hope everyone had a Wonderful Memorial Day Monday.  Today my family and I went to the beach and had a picnic, then to the park and finished the day off with some Fabulous ice cream downtown.

Cookies and Cream, Black Raspberry, Death by Chocolate and mine was Almond Joy and tasted Fantastic :)

Over at Haunted Design House the Macabre Monday challenge this week is Pass the Distressing Please.

And here is my card...

I had SOOOO much fun creating this card. My OCD started to kick in while I was getting all inked up, worrying that I would smudge something, then I realized, the smudgier the better! LOL :)

Stampin' Up Very Vintage jumbo wheel

Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel ink pads

I started by printing out Deacon on Crumb Cake cardstock, tearing the edges and coloring the image in.  Then inking up the wheel image and rolling on the brown background paper and scrapes of the crumb cake, then tearing the edges on the brown paper and tearing the crumb cake into strips, then going over the papers with the Chocolate ink pad.  I went around the edges of the card base paper, which has these fabulous flocked cameos, with creamy caramel. Then I layered everything as shown and folding up all of the edges of the papers. I tied the ribbon onto the top strip and frayed the ends. Finaly finishing up with spraying the whole card with the burnt umber mist.  I Love the inky distressed product :)

Father's Day Phesant

Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

We spent ours at the Baseball fields Saturday and today I got to reward myself, after morning baseball practice of course, with scrap time with my sister.

I was able to make 4 scrapbook pages and a card. I wasted alot of time trying to find all of the bits and pieces I needed for the pages, it's been awhile since it was 2006 :)

LOL, my drawing skills have diminished over the years but I think I did what I set out to do, make Cheshire disappear :)

Using a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Here is my card...

I placed all of the papers as the sketch shows, embossing on the top yellow square.

I stamped the crown then masked it and stamped the baseball image, fussy cutting both out and popping up in the middle of the card.  I finished by stamping the baseball on the two canvas buttons and adhering them to the corners.

The Masque of the Red Death

Another great challenge over at Quoth the Raven, Nevermore.

Create something using inspiration from Poe's short story The Masque of the Red Death.

I created a wall hanging...

I started by painting the whole tray in red(let dry) then painting crackle all over inside(let dry til tacky) finally finishing with a mix of red and blue(to darken a little).  I colored the lines on the mask with the sharpe and added bling to eyes.  I wrote on the inside with the versa pen and embossed with black powder for the saying, gluing the skeleton next to the words.  I finished with embossing the clock image, fussy cutting, gluing the accents to the sides and popping the clock up in the corner.

I love the finished project! Hope you do too :)

YAY!!!

Going outside and walking around must have helped...lol.  I got a little crafty and am excited to show you my creation.

I followed the Sketch from Unscripted Sketches and cut out the green cardstocks.  Stamping butterflies on the two Kiwi Kiss pieces. I stamped the smallest butterfly on Whisper White and colored with the ink pads and blender pen and cut out. Then I punched out and layered the flowers attaching them with a flower brad.

Finally I adhered the green cardstock to the card, stamped the sentiment, popped up the flowers and butterfly and added bling.
